Frequently asked questions:

What is Portion?

Portion is a program dedicated to feeding children living on the streets of Manila—and using that opportunity to share the Gospel. Through one-time donations and monthly sponsorships, we provide essential support to local children in need.

While feeding children and sharing the Gospel are our primary missions, our involvement in the community goes even further. We lead mission trips to the Philippines, fund children’s education, offer access to medical care for families, and actively disciple and support local families on their journey to know Jesus.

What does my $50 sponsorship go to?

Your $50 monthly sponsorship helps provide weekly grocery buckets to the children in our program. Each bucket includes several kilos of rice, canned meats like sardines to last the week, and ingredients to prepare a fresh meal that evening.

These food deliveries are more than just physical nourishment—they’re also a powerful opportunity for connection. They allow us to visit families in person, build relationships, pray with them, disciple them, and address any immediate physical needs they may have.

Are one time donations helpful?

Absolutely! One-time donations are incredibly appreciated and help cover ministry gaps, pay facility rent, or support other important needs.
